Welke impact heeft een staaltje ten aanzien van een kortingsbon op het consumentengedrag? 

Continental Foods Belgium nam de proef op de som. Ze bezorgden 61.000 staaltjes Devos Lemmens Pepersaus in Oost- en West-Vlaanderen. In het pakketje zat bovendien ook een kortingsbon om consumenten van de andere sauzen uit het assortiment van Devos Lemmens te laten proeven.

Na de bedeling werd een Customer Impact Survey uitgevoerd in samenwerking met het onderzoeksbureau Ivox met als doel te peilen naar de ervaring van de consument. Uit het onderzoek bleek dat maar liefst 8 op 10 personen die het staaltje ontvingen zich perfect herinnerden dat het een saus van het merk Devos & Lemmens betrof. Bovendien gaf 70% van de ondervraagden blijk van een duidelijke aankoopintentie en claimde 80% vaker nieuwe producten op deze manier te willen uittesten.
