BD Groep bestaat uit 2 pijlers: BD Logistics, ons nationaal netwerk voor lokale logistiek met toegevoegde waarde, en BD myShopi, onze oplossingen voor consumentenactivatie.

BD Logistics is dé specialist in leveringen en ophalingen met toegevoegde waarde. Dankzij ons unieke netwerk van lokale depots bieden we ongeëvenaarde, fijnmazige toegang tot consumenten en bedrijven op het hele Belgische grondgebied. Zo bieden we onze klanten één nationaal aanspreekpunt voor al hun logistieke stromen.
Duurzaamheid staat centraal in onze aanpak. Door een slimme bundeling van goederen in de last mile dringen we het aantal logistieke bewegingen terug. Zo dragen we bij aan de leefbaarheid, veiligheid en mobiliteit in de steden en op het platteland. We investeren volop in een groene vloot.

BD myShopi heeft meer dan 50 jaar ervaring in logistiek en offline en digitale consumentenactivatie. Als nummer 1 omni-channel activatieplatform zorgt BD myShopi er via verschillende kanalen voor dat de consument geprikkeld wordt en actie onderneemt, in-home, on the go, in de brievenbus en in de winkel. Onze missie is dan ook ‘delivering activated consumers’. We distribueren wekelijks folders, samples en andere creatieve uitingen in 4,5 miljoen brievenbussen in België en plaatsen digitale cashbacks, folders of promoties op ons promoplatform myShopi dat al meer dan 2 miljoen keer werd gedownload in België. Traffic genereren naar fysieke winkels en webshops vormt meer dan ooit de kern van onze propositie.

Wij zijn op zoek naar een Area Manager voor de regio Oost- en West-Vlaanderen.

JOUW FUNCTIE

Het departement Operations staat in voor de operationele dienstverlening naar onze klanten. Dit omvat de operationele uitvoering van onze twee strategische pijlers. Als Area Manager heb je voor beide operationele activiteiten de eindverantwoordelijkheid in je regio.
Dit impliceert o.m. volgende verantwoordelijkheden:

Je coacht direct en indirect het team in je regio en je bent verantwoordelijk voor alle HR processen en gerelateerde topics in samenspraak met de verantwoordelijke HR Business Partner.
Je draagt eindverantwoordelijkheid voor de totale P&L van jouw regio op een kostenbewuste manier.
Op basis van je kennis van de sector, van de klanten binnen je regio en van de evoluties op de markt ben je mee verantwoordelijk voor het detecteren van nieuwe commerciële opportuniteiten en je bespreekt deze als sparring partner met het Sales departement.
Je bent het gezicht richting lokale overheden en belangengroepen (o.a. Voka). Via networking en relatiebuilding creëer je mee opportuniteiten. Daarnaast speel je ook een belangrijke rol in de onderhandeling van bestaande contracten.
Je staat in voor het beheer van de structurele samenwerking binnen het netwerk van zelfstandige leveranciers en onderaannemers .
Je draagt de eindverantwoordelijkheid voor de kwaliteit in de operationele organisatie van je regio: werkprocedures, operationele KPI’s, opvolging van SLA’s, implementatie van nieuwe klanten, … In dit kader voorzie je begeleiding en opvolging van de distributie en de logistieke managers.
Het verzorgen van de veiligheid, orde en netheid, milieu en welzijn binnen alle depots.
