Last-mile delivery en reverse logistics zijn een onmisbare schakel binnen e-commerce, waar menig bedrijf de laatste jaren – en zeker niet minder de laatste maanden – hun pijlen op richten. Wij zijn een ondernemende en innovatieve speler die met een sterke servicegerichte aanpak haar klanten adviseert en ondersteunt op gebied van consumentenactivatie en logistiek met toegevoegde waarde. Vandaag gaan wij op zoek naar een Project Manager Logistic Control Tower die mee zijn/haar schouders wil zetten onder de verdere uitbouw van onze logistieke activiteiten.

JOUW FUNCTIE

Het departement ‘Logistic Control Tower’ staat centraal in de organisatie en is het ‘verbindend’ departement tussen Sales ‘Value added Logistics’ en de operationele area’s. De strategische logistieke uitdagingen van onze klanten worden hier getoetst met de operationele haalbaarheid evenals de kosten die ze met zich meebrengen.

Eens de klant door Sales ‘Value added Logistics’ gecontracteerd, is de ‘Logistic Control Tower’ verantwoordelijk voor de projectmatige implementatie van de klanteneisen, zodat dit op een uniforme en kostenbewuste wijze zal uitgevoerd worden in de verschillende operationele area’s.

Het departement is ook verantwoordelijk voor de centrale coördinatie en sturing van onderaannemers voor de logistieke diensten, het kenniscentrum van de logistieke (IT-) tools en de nood aan opleiding en begeleiding die gepaard gaan met de nieuwe logistieke diensten.

Jouw takenpakket bestaat onder andere uit:

Het berekenen van de operationele haalbaarheid van potentiële klanten.
Het ontwikkelen van standaarden door middel van handboeken, Wiki, Good Operating Practices.
Het implementeren van optimalisaties en Best Practices en voorstellen van IT-aanpassingen.
Het opzetten van Sustainability programma en Forecasting proces.
Het ontwikkelen van routines en opzetten van performance meetings en Benchmarks.
Het leiden van de S&OP meeting en het netwerk-shuttling organiseren.
Het promoten van people trainingen en methodologieën.
Het zoeken naar synergiëen tussen de verschillende businesses (huidige en toekomstige), samen met de operationele area’s en het departement Quality.
Je behoudt hierbij een overzicht van het magazijn en transport-netwerk (depots, capaciteit en vergunningenbeheer).
Je beheert de onderaannemers: je beheert de contracten en je behoudt het overzicht.
Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de opstart van de onderaannemers en de klanten.

In deze functie rapporteer je aan de Logistic Control Tower Manager.

JOUW PROFIEL

De volgende competenties zijn essentieel in deze rol:

Je beschikt over een Bachelor of Universitair diploma en hebt een aantal jaren ervaring
Je hebt reeds een gedegen ervaring opgebouwd in logistiek en/of distributie
Je bent energiek en hebt een hands-on mentaliteit
Je hebt een natuurlijke aanleg voor het optimaliseren van bestaande processen
Je bent analytisch en planmatig ingesteld en bent van nature een initiatiefnemer
Je hebt ervaring met project management en het motiveren van medewerkers in een project
Je staat open voor elke nieuwe business opportuniteit op positieve en enthousiaste wijze
Je communiceert op een duidelijke en efficiënte wijze en met de nodige assertiviteit
Je bent tweetalig Nederlands en Frans met een goede kennis van het Engels
Je hebt een goede kennis van MS-Office pakket
Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B
